Eastern Kentucky quarterback Allan Holland is today’s player. Holland, who is the offensive coordinator at the University of Pikeville, will return for his second season with the Drillers.
1. How are things going with UPike?
I couldn’t ask for a better start. We are 4-1 this season and have one of the offenses in the country. My quarterback Trevor Hoskins has been named conference player of the week 2 out of 5 weeks and was also national player of the week one week.
2. What are your goals for UPike this season?
My goals for this team are to take each game one at a time. We all want to win the conference and win a national championship. Also be one of the top 5 offenses in the country ant the end of the season.
3. What are your personal coaching goals? Looking past UPike?
I want to be an offensive coordinator/quarterback coach or head coach at a FBS school somewhere down the road.
4. Are you looking forward for a second season with Eastern Kentucky?
I’m very excited about getting started for my second year. I now have a year under my belt and know more of the little things about the indoor game and what to expect, where as of last year I was coming in with blinders on. We have a lot of great talent coming in this season and I’m looking forward to seeing how good this team really can be. It’s going to be exciting to be a Driller and get to play in front of one of the best home crowds in the league.
5. I see that you are engaged, when is the date? And am I invited LOL?
Yeah, we will be getting married at the end of spring or beginning of summer depending of her Pharmacy School break. It’s going to be on a cruise, so you’re more than welcome to come … lol
