Tommy Jones – Saginaw

Saginaw quarterback Tommy Jones is named the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week. He tied a UIFL record with nine passing touchdowns as the Sting secured a home playoff game with the 76-47 win over Canton. His 304 passing yards marked the fourth time the 300-yard plateau has been surpassed in the UIFL this season.

LaVaughn Macon – Saginaw

Saginaw receiver LaVaughn Macon earns the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week honors after hauling in the game-winning catch to lift the Sting over Northern Kentucky. Macon finished the game with nine receptions for 137 yards and three touchdowns. It was his third 100-yard game of the season. It’s Macon’s first award and only the second time this season a Sting player has earned the offensive honor.

Ricardo Lenhart – Northern Kentucky

For the second straight week, Ricardo Lenhart is named the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week honor. It the second consecutive week, the receiver tied a UIFL record with 12 receptions. He has 12 catches for 120 yards and one touchdown in the win over Huntington. It the sixth time a NKY player earned the offensive honor.

Ricardo Lenhart – Northern Kentucky

The Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week honor goes to Northern Kentucky’s Ricardo Lenhart. The receiver set a new UIFL single-game record with six touchdown receptions and tied the league record with 12 receptions as the River Monsters became the first team to qualify for the UIFL playoffs.

Ray Marrow – Canton

Canton’s Ray Marrow earns the Conquest Cards Player of the Week nod after nearly leading the Cougars to their second win of the season. Only a missed extra point kept Canton from taking the game into overtime. He was 24-of-45 passing for 271 yards and eight touchdowns. The eight scoring strikes are one off the UIFL’s single-game record.  Marrow is the second Canton player to earn the league’s offensive award, joining Ryan Brinson – who earned the honor for the week ending March 22.

Jared Lorenzen – Northern Kentucky (4/12/11)

For the third straight week, the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week goes to Northern Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen. The left-handed signal caller tied his own single-game record with nine touchdown passes against Canton. He was 17-of-30 for 251 yards to go with his nine throwing strikes.

Jared Lorenzen – Northern Kentucky

Northern Kentucky quarterback Jared Lorenzen was named the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week for the second straight time. It marks the first time in league history a player has earned a league honor in consecutive weeks. He is also the second player to pick up the UIFL award for a second time.

Lorenzen and the River Monsters torched Huntington, league’s top scoring defense, for 69 points. It was more than three times the Hammer’s season average. The left-handed signal caller threw for six touchdowns and rushed for another in the victory.

Jared Lorenzen – Northern Kentucky

A lot is expected of quarterback Jared Lorenzen, and against Canton, he put up a record-setting performance. The left-handed signal caller threw for a UIFL-high nine touchdowns in the win over Canton to earn the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week. He finished 19-of-36 for 294 yards to go with the nine scores.

Martavious Young – Huntington and Ryan Brinson – Canton

With two scintillating offensive performances, Huntington’s Martavious Young and Canton’s Ryan Brinson share the Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week honor. It’s the first offensive award for both teams.

Young registered for five touchdowns, three passing and two rushing, and became the first UIFL player to record 100 yards rushing. In addition to the five touchdowns, Young accounted for 245 yards – 118 rushing and 127 passing.

Brinson, who was signed this week, became the first receiver to record 200 yards receiving. He finished with 10 catches for 204 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-winner with 16 seconds left.

Allan Holland – Eastern Kentucky

The Conquest Cards Offensive Player of the Week goes to Eastern Kentucky quarterback Allan Holland. He accounted for eight touchdowns on 23-of-38 for 244 yards in the Drillers’ win. He is the second EKY player this season to earn the league weekly award as Aric Evans was in inaugural winner.
