Commissioner’s Corner
Hey everyone,
It’s good to be back home after a while of driving all over the
place. I have been to Tupelo, MS, Birmingham, MS and East Ridge, TN
within a week. It was a lot of fun though seeing the excitement of
the league really starting to grow.
We had great turnouts at both press conferences, and I cannot
wait to see games played at these arenas, both will definitely give
the home team a seriously advantage.
Another thing I am excited about is the release of the schedule.
I can’t thank the arenas, president, and everyone else that went
into getting this put out so quick. We are months away from even
training camp and now fans can see where they are playing and make
accommodations now. I too am making my schedule to see where I am
going and who I will be visiting throughout the year. I’m not going
to lie it will be tough to watch these games knowing I can still
play but I am excited to get around and watch other cities home
arenas.
As the season get closer I will let everyone know the game that
I will be at each week because I would like to meet and talk to as
many people as possible. So until that time enjoy yourself and I
will be writing back next week.

Commissioner’s Blog
Well I just got off the Live Blog segment and it went great. I want
to thank the 20 people that were online firing the questions away.
That is a great start, and I will definitely do that again in the
near future. In the 45 minutes that I was on, we had 115 comments
and questions. Thank you all very much. It’s good to see the
support we are gaining.
I just got back from Athens, Georgia for the opening of the
leagues offices. Cecil, Andrew and I had a great time and were able
to sit down and discuss in person the items that need to be done
for the season. On a side note I want to personally thank Lucinda,
Brantley, Kelly and Mary all for the great stay. Without those four
it would have been a tough weekend, but it was as smooth as it
could be.
Well to give you a little run down of my week, I am contacting
all the teams to make sure we are all on the same page with
everything and moving along the way we need to. Every team has been
great being involved and helping out to make sure this is one of
the premiere leagues in the US.
Again I encourage you to email me any questions that you all may
have and I will be sure to answer them in this weekly
blog.
Look forward to talking to you all again in another week.

Commissioner’s Blog
First of all let me welcome you all to my blog. My name is Jared
Lorenzen, and I am the new commissioner of the Ultimate Indoor
Football League (UIFL). Just to give everyone a little background
information, I started for four years at the University of
Kentucky, played three seasons with the New York Giants and have
played two years of arena football. I played for the Northern
Kentucky River Monsters last season, and was named the MVP of the
league
I will be updating and sending out new blogs at least twice a
month throughout the year. I cannot begin to explain how excited I
am for the new season to get underway. We have begun our expansion
of the league, and you will continue to see this league get bigger
and better. We have reached out to the South and I am looking
forward to meeting with every team, while watching this league
become as successful as I know it can get to.
I am looking for fans interaction as much as possible with this
blog. I welcome emails and truthfully look forward to the emails. I
will answer as many questions as humanly possible in every
entry.
Again I cannot tell you how excited I am to start this new
venture. I have very good people that I will be working so we will
be getting together and releasing info as it comes in.
The Commish
