I have been involved with the UIFL for one year as a team owner and now I have majority
ownership of the League.  In 1968 I graduated from Crest High School in Shelby, NC.  Then on
to Gardner-Webb University where I received a BS in Business with a major in accounting.
While at GWU, I worked as an Accounting Lab Assistant and served as President of the Business
Club.  I finshed the course work in Dec 1971 and was awarded the degree in June 1972.
Accounting was a natural major for me since as a junior at Crest High School in Shelby, NC, I was
given the Bookkeeping Award in my junior year.

Donna and I have been married for 39 years.  We have one daughter, Stephanie, and
two grandaughters.

I’m very high on education and that is the main reason that the UIFL has established a scholarship
program through the UIFL for interns that work with one of our teams.

The UIFL is growing constantly. Look for more big announcements around the corner!
